Manish Valiathan, MDS, DDS, MSD
Dr. Valiathan was born in Washington, DC and moved to India at a young age, where he completed his initial dental and orthodontic training at Manipal University, the No. 1 ranked dental school in India. He joined Case Western Reserve University in 1996 and retrained in dentistry (DDS) and orthodontics (MSD). He is a tenured Associate Professor with appointments in the Departments of Orthodontics, Pediatric Dentistry and Plastic Surgery (School of Medicine). Dr. Valiathan is the founding Program Director of the Surgical and Craniofacial Orthodontics fellowship, a program through Case and the University Hospitals. He is an active contributor to the Craniofacial Biology Research Group at Case and has lectured on clinical and research topics alike, at home and abroad.

Daniel Gindi, DMD
Dr. Gindi was born and raised on the east side of Cleveland and earned an undergraduate degree in biology from John Carroll University. He then earned his dental degree from the University of Pittsburgh and completed his pediatric dental residency at Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and holds memberships with many leading organizations, including the:
- American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry
- American Academy of Pediatrics
- Ohio Dental Association
- Ohio Academy of Pediatric Dentistry
- American Dental Association
- Greater Cleveland Dental Society
In addition, Dr. Gindi is currently an Assistant Clinical Professor in the pediatric dentistry program at Case Western Reserve University and is on staff at most major Cleveland area hospitals.
